Book Crossing “Release” a book into the wild, then track it as it travels from person to person! Sign up at this site and register each book that you “release”. Each book registration generates a BookCrossing Identification number or BCID. Write the BCID inside the book’s cover and affix a label that explains what BookCrossing is and includes the URL for the BookCrossing site. The finder of the book can then visit the BookCrossing site and make a journal entry for that book. Labels are available for free and for purchase.
